Curbside Pickup Starts June 8

Are you ready to try something different? Just about everything is different these days, so add curbside book pickup to the list.
Beginning June 8, the Salmon Falls Library will be offering outside pickup of print and audio books to our patrons, both adults and children! Here’s how it will work.
• Click on the link for our online card catalog in the navigation bar.
• Follow the instructions on that page to search for and select what materials you’d like to sign out.
• Reserve the books. We will automatically receive an email from you with your selections.
• We will email you when your books are ready to be picked up.
We will have 3 pickup times during each week:
Mon: 4 – 6 pm
Thurs: 3 – 5:00 pm
Sat: 10 am – 12 pm
Your requested materials will be put in a bag with your name on it and placed next to the book drop. Children’s book are limited to 6 per child.
The building will not be open to the public so that we can continue to observe social distancing.
You can now return the materials you’ve had for months to the book drop.
When patrons are ready to return their books, please place them in our outdoor book drop. When we remove them, each book will be disinfected and set aside for 72 hours to “quarantine” before re-shelving or signing out to another patron. We will be wearing masks and gloves when getting them ready for you.
For ideas of what to read, check our Facebook page, where I’ll be posting the titles of new books to entice you.
It may take awhile for this to run smoothly, so thanks in advance for your patience. If you have any questions, email us at salmonfallslibrary@gmail.com
